Ship reverse-gear transmission with fluted designed to transmit torque from the engine to the propeller, as well as changing of the rotation direction. Constraction features of a reverse-gear transmission allows smooth clutch hydraulic couplings with adjustable switching delay, ensuring reliable operation of the transmission while maintenance.

Reverse-gear transmission are certified by Russian River Register and the Russian Maritime Register Shipping.

Reverse-gear transmission ratios have the same numbers on the front and reverse draft, they are also supplied in an open design (without the protective cover from the flywheel clutch under 536 mm), and a protective cover for SAE №1, №2, №3 and a clutch flywheel SAE №14, №16, №18, equipped with a mechanical switch the direction of rotation (spool device) or optional electrically controlled with a remote control.

To change the direction of rotation of the propeller and lower the engine speed main power plants are equipped with reverse-reduction gear, that does not  only provide the mobility and reliable trouble-free operation of the main engine at the expense of smooth clutch.

Features reverse-gear transmission

 Reverse-gear transmissions have design features, due to which it is possible to adjust the delay time of the shift, and provides smooth clutch hydraulic clutch that guarantees the absence of congestion in the power plant and shafting.

Control of the reverse-reduction gear can be carried out by mechanical  as well as electrical action on the spool device. In addition, the customer can order the system of remote automated control of "Corvette" diesel-geared units, tracking and not tracking type.

The Enterprise Remdiesel Ltd delivers Reverse-gear transmission with protective covers for SAE and open design. Reverse-reduction gear equipped with high-elasticity (for an open version) and rubberfingerable (for closed executions) clutches. Gearboxes are equivalent ratios move forward and backward, which makes it possible to achieve enhanced mobility of the vessel in any direction.
